Maqbool Jan’s Bail Application Rejected:
The session court of Lahore rejected the bail application of analyst and columnist Maqbool Jan arrested in the cybercrime case of the Federal Investigation Agency. During the hearing, Mian Ali Ashfaq argued on behalf of Maqbool Jan, in which the stand was adopted that FIA’s case is based on mere supposition, FIA neither has any evidence nor is there any evidence on record. And there was no recovery from popular life. Request the court or Maqbool Jan’s request to grant bail. On this occasion, the bail plea of Maqbool Jan was opposed by the FIA counsel. After hearing the arguments of the lawyers of the parties, the Sessions Court reserved the decision, which was later heard, and the bail application for Maqbool Jan was rejected.
