Germany Big Announcement for Pakistani

The German government will provide 24 million euros to Pakistan for sustainable energy and emission reduction projects. Yesterday Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and Federal Minister for Trade Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Mrs. Svenja Schulze, along with a parliamentary delegation, held separate meetings here in Islamabad. The German Ambassador was also present on this occasion. Federal Minister Ahad Khan Cheema said in a conversation with his German counterpart that Germany is a valuable development partner of Pakistan. He also appreciated the bilateral economic assistance and cooperation given to Pakistan especially for achieving GSP plus status. The German minister said that the partnership between Pakistan and Germany has stood the test of time. He announced on the occasion that the German government will provide 24 million euros to Pakistan for sustainable energy and emission reduction projects. Jam Kamal Khan also presented the traditional gift of chadar to the German minister.
