The NAB amendment decision

The decision of NAB amendments will be upheld or annulled. The judgment on the intra-court appeals against the decision to invalidate the NAB amendments in the Supreme Court will be pronounced today on Friday. The court had reserved its decision on June 6 on the intra-court appeals against the NAB amendment decision. The reserved decision on the Federal Government’s intra-court appeal against the decision to nullify the NAB amendments will be pronounced on Friday. A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Issa comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Justice Athar Manullah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi reserved the decision on June 6. A five-judge larger bench on intra-court appeals reserved the verdict after five hearings. Former Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial and retired Haj Ijaz-ul-Ahsan had declared null and void the NAB law amendments during the former PDM regime, while Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had written a dissenting note.
