The spokesman said that PASCO had issued a tender in June 2023 for the sale of flood-affected wheat, contrary to the terms and conditions, the tender gave an illegal discount of 10% to the buyers in the form of a performance guarantee, only Rs 39 million from the change in the terms and conditions. The FIA ​​spokesperson added that as per the rules Rs 276 million were to be deposited in the exchequer, and the accused caused a loss of around Rs 236 million to the exchequer.
