Apple Music Replay works a little differently than Spotify Rapid. It’s a permanent feature in the Apple Music app. And updated weekly throughout the year. However, today marks the launch of a more personalized highlights summary, which users can share on social media by tapping the share icon in the bottom-right corner of the app.

On this page, you’ll find a highlight reel that provides a year-by-year overview of a user’s 2023 Apple Music listening history. Just like Spotify Wrapped, this summary includes the total amount of time you’ve spent listening to music, your top genre, top artist, top album and top song.

When did Apple Music Replay start?

On November 29 last year, Apple Music announced. Its version of Spotify’s year-end campaign is called Apple Music Replay. Apple’s feature includes much of the same listening data as Spotify, including a user’s top songs, top albums, top artists, and top genres of the year.

Which artists, songs top the Apple Music Replay Charts?

In addition to curating users’ personalized year-round review data, Apple Music Replay includes global charts for the biggest songs, albums, and artists of 2023 in Apple Music and Shazam.

Taylor Swift is Apple Music’s 2023 Artist of the Year., Swift set a new record for the most listeners in a single year for any artist on Apple Music.

Apple Music users can access Replay ’23 playlists throughout the year on the app by locating the Listen Now tab, scrolling to the Replays section, tapping Replay ’23 Playlist, and then up By selecting the plus button on the right. Apple Music users can then check out their Replay ’23 throughout the year in the playlist section of their library.
