Rajkumar Hirani’s Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki will hit the screens on December 21, alongside Prashanth Neel’s highly-anticipated Prabhas-starrer Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire.
After the release of the initial teaser for the upcoming movie “Dunki,” Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled two new posters, offering a glimpse into the intriguing storyline. In the first poster, we see Shah Rukh Khan exuding confidence as he walks towards the camera, flanked by Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. They are all dressed in formal attire, holding files, which hints at a pivotal job interview.
The second poster presents the same group navigating a challenging and isolated terrain. While the others appear fatigued from their journey, SRK’s character appears determined, gazing in one direction, seemingly searching for an escape from the desolation. In contrast, Taapsee’s character maintains a serene composure, smiling at SRK.
Sharing these captivating posters on his social media, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Hum bilkul usi tarah dikh rahe hain jaise Raju sir ne apne ‘Ullu ke patthon’ ko imagine kiya tha… Inke baare mein bahot kuch share karna abhi baaki hai…” (We look exactly the way Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani) had imagined his ‘Ullu ke patthon’ to be. There is still much more to share about them).
“Dunki” is built around the intriguing concept of “Donkey Flight,” an illicit backdoor entry technique used to access countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States of America. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan portrays a character named Hardy, who is determined to relocate to London with his friends.
Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment and Jio Studios banners, “Dunki” is written by a talented team of Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon. The music for the film has been composed by Pritam, and CK Muraleedharan has worked as the cinematographer.
“Dunki” marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third cinematic release in the year, following the spectacular success of his back-to-back blockbusters, “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” which collectively grossed over Rs 2000 crore. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 21, sharing the spotlight with Prashanth Neel’s highly-anticipated Prabhas-starrer “Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire.”
