Let it be known that after crossing the one-day collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan on its first day, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office within two days of its release. As per Sachin Lak’s preliminary estimates, the film collected Rs 66 crore on Saturday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 129.80 crore.

The film collected Rs 63.8 crore at the box office on Friday, surpassing Pathan’s first-day collection of Rs 54 crore. But it could not beat the second-day collection of the Shah Rukh Khan star which earned Rs 70.50 crore on the second day.

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Animals has earned Rs 230 crore worldwide. He said on Twitter, He wrote, “In 2 days, #Animal at the WW box office? 230 Crs+ has grossed huge.”

Animal released in theaters clashed with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. While Animal is doing well at the box office, the Meghna Gulzar-directed film is doing slow and steady. The film collected Rs 6.25 crore on Friday and Rs 9.25 crore on Saturday.
